Chambers of commerce and professional chambers of the state of Bremen

The chambers of commerce represent the interests of companies in the state of Bremen. Independent of the structures of their member companies, the public sector and state administration, the Bremen chambers of commerce support their members and, as public-law corporations (KöR), provide many services for their member companies.

The professional chambers are self-governing bodies of the liberal professions. They monitor the fulfilment of professional duties and safeguard the professional interests of the liberal professions. The main task of the professional chambers is to provide their members with advice and support on professional law. As public law corporations (KöR), they provide many services for their members. In addition, the professional chambers can also take on consumer protection and citizens' concerns in individual areas.
