Since 31 July 2024, we have been offering walk-in appointments without an appointment, known as open consultation hours, at the BürgerServiceCenter-Nord. During open consultation hours, applications for travel documents – including temporary travel documents – and change of address notifications are processed. You can register 30 minutes before the start of open consultation hours. If you wish to take advantage
of this service, please be prepared for waiting times.

Collection of documents
You can collect your documents without an appointment at the following times:
Mondays from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Tuesdays to Fridays from 7:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
If you selected collection from the document distribution box when applying for your document, collection is possible at the following times:
Monday to Friday from 6:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
Express counter at the Citizen Service Centre
You do not need an appointment for the following matters:
- Certificates of good conduct,
- Certifications,
- registration certificates,
- Exemptions from ID requirements,
- Address changes on identity cards,
- Changing the PIN number for your identity card and eID card
- Vehicle deregistrations
- Temporary licence plates
Please use the express counters without an appointment.
When are the express counters at the BürgerServiceCenter Nord open?
Mondays from 7:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Tuesdays to Fridays from 7:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
There are no parking spaces in the immediate vicinity. Please use the following parking facilities:
- the BREPARKHAUS car park at Sedanplatz (subject to a charge)
- Aumunder Marktplatz (free of charge, approx. 5-10 min. walk)
Appointments at the BürgerServiceCenter-Nord are only possible by prior arrangement. Appointments can be made online at https://www.service.bremen.de or by calling the Bremen citizen hotline on 115 or 0421-361 0. Please use the online appointment service if possible.

Note: All other driving licence matters are handled exclusively by the Citizens' - Office - Driving Licences (Driving Licence Office) in the Stresemannstraße Administrative Centre.
