Performa North Performa Nord

Performa Nord is a municipal enterprise owned by the State of Bremen. The company provides services in the areas of human resources, finance, organisation and management. These services are provided as statutory tasks, on behalf of the Senate or on the basis of contracts with Bremen and supra-regional agencies and institutions. Performa Nord's statutory tasks include payroll accounting, subsidies and pensions for the Free Hanseatic City of Bremen. On behalf of the Senate, it operates the Bremen citizen hotline, provides occupational health and safety support for Bremen institutions and handles travel expense accounting. In January 2022, the range of services was expanded to include consulting and support for the federal government in construction matters with the addition of the Federal Construction Bremen division.

The state-owned company Performa Nord is divided into the following six divisions:

A – Payroll accounting / Personnel service centre
Responsible for payroll accounting for civil servants, employees and pensioners; this division also includes the Personnel Systems and Payment Processing Control Centre, the Personnel Service Centre for the Free Hanseatic City of Bremen and Contract Customers, applicant management and the state programme "Perspektive Arbeit" (Work Perspective).

B – Bremen Citizens'Hotline and Citizen Services
Responsible for the telephone citizen service of the Free Hanseatic City of Bremen and the service centre in the nationwide 115 network, as well as the daycare contribution service and appointment management for the Free Hanseatic City of Bremen.

D – Federal Construction Bremen
Responsible for managing all federal military properties in Bremen, Bremerhaven and Delmenhorst, as well as federal civilian properties in Bremen and Bremerhaven in matters relating to construction.

F - Centre for Healthy Work of the Free Hanseatic City of Bremen
Responsible in particular for providing occupational health and safety advice and support to Bremen institutions, as well as assistance with workplace design, occupational social counselling and health promotion.

P – Personnel Support and Administrative Services
Responsible in particular for benefits, allowances, compensation and liability matters, and the FHB's business travel service centre.

Z – Performa central function
Responsible for the internal affairs of Performa Nord, covering quality and risk management, accounting, IT services, human resources, organisation and general administration.
